Yesterday I attended Collaborate '08, a conference put on by ASID Arizona North Chapter and IFDA Arizona Chapter. The fantastic presentations covered branding, website creation, color and public relations. I'm always excited to find ways to keep improving my studio and be inspired.

The Tempe Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors will present the sixth annual Tuscany in the Desert on February 21 from 6-8 p.m. at the Waterfront, featuring dining, drinks and dancing. more »

AIGA Arizona and Ad2Phoenix held the 2nd Annual Dodgeball Tournament at Kiwanis Park in Tempe. It was a wild and crazy afternoon full of dodgeball, with the teams much improved over last year :) followed by the afterpary at Macayo's Cantina in downtown Tempe.

AIGA Arizona held its 16th Annual Art Auction on Jan. 18. The hard work and dedication paid off — the artwork was fantastic and everyone had a great time. Thank you to all of the donating artists and everyone who helped!

Last night I attended Mingle Bells at Dave & Buster's. It's an annual event for the communications industry put on by AIGA, PAC, Ad 2 Phoenix and PIAZ. It was my first time at Dave & Buster's and it was a blast. There was mingling and dinner, then we broke into teams and went on a scavenger hunt for items and info all over the restaurant and game area. I think I had the best team :) and we came in 2nd. I met some great people that I hope to see again at future AIGA events. In the morning I had attended the Tempe Chamber Ambassadors Committee meeting where I met Jennifer from Dave & Buster's. She talked about how much fun their events are, and she wasn't kidding!

AIGA Arizona is getting ready for the 16th Annual Art Auction. I designed this year's printed materials and website [see samples here]. The auction will be held at January 18, 2008, at Bragg's Pie Factory in Phoenix. It's a fun event and the funds we raise are shared with Free Arts of Arizona.

I recently joined the Tempe Chamber of Commerce, and today attended the New Member Breakfast. I'm going to become a Chamber Ambassador and am excited about making more connections with other Tempe businesses.
